Our association is taking part in the European project ‘DigiHike’, an initiative co-funded by the European Commission’s Erasmus+ programme.
The growth of adventure tourism represents a huge opportunity, both for sports organisations and for communities active in mountain or rural areas that attract tourists looking for outdoor activities.
Small organisations active in the field of outdoor activities can play an extremely important role in this process.
The ‘DigiHike’ project has a dual objective:
- The development of specific skills related to trekking and digital platforms by the staff of sports organisations.
- To support the promotion of trekking and mountain/nature sports.
The ‘DigiHike’ project also aims to produce the following results:
The ‘DigiHike’ guide for developing basic hiking skills.
The toolkit for the digital promotion of outdoor activities.
