The city of Balikesir, Turkey, hosted the kick-off meeting of the project “Explore The Talent Act With Play” (ETAP).
This is an Erasmus+ project in which ADCS Carvalhais is one of three partners, the others are the University of Craiova from Romania and the Regional Delegation of the Ministry of Youth and Sports in Balıkesir in Turkey (coordinator).
The overall objective of our project is to encourage children from families with socio-economic difficulties, aged 9-11 years old, living in rural areas, to practice physical activity and exercise through educational games, contributing to the development of their physical, social and cognitive skills. We also want to contribute to the development of sport in our countries by analysing the way sport is dealt with and transferring it to sports culture.
